LIGHTING FOR A NEW ERA....
Lighting Design is a young and fast-developing industry, but 90% of Lighting Designers on the market are self-taught.
The years we have spent working with the different applications of lighting design (ARCHITECTURE, BROADCAST, SHOW BUSINESS, etc.) allowed us to understand that none of these activities benefited from clearly defined processes, despite the very technical aspect of lighting. For the past 5 years we have done our best to organize, optimize, compare, imagine, question and qualify the different steps that define lighting concept as a whole.
Today, we are able to make you benefit from the results of this work, which combine creation and productivity.
We can affirm that any artistic lighting design project is subject to a clearly defined process and therefore can be quantified in terms of time and budget.
This research work we have done and the implementation of its findings naturally embrace the use of modern software and the WEB2.0 work methods. We call this synergy between know-how and technology "LAO" (in French Lumière Assistée par Ordinateur or Computer Assisted Lighting)

The prices indicated include the constant use of advanced technology and software, which allows more time for creative design. This method also allows us to align with the need for environmental protection, as it reduces our carbon-footprint by 2/3 thanks to less trips on site replaced by Online Meetings and the use of digital documents during 80% of the project. Because each industry (Theater, TV, Architecture, etc.) uses a different concept method, we separated lighting applications between 4 distinct sectors. In addition, we consider Research and Development as being a 5th sector.

An emerging industry, it is also the one using the most advanced technology.
This sector benefited from techniques used in architecture (processes / technical design / project management / standards etc.).
Despite this real technological advantage, the results are not always at par with expectations.
This market being financially attractive, sales often overshadow production and finish. Virtual rendering today guarantees to our clients that they can see visuals of what they are buying. If the final product isn't in line with the rendering, it reveals a weakness from either the supplier or installer.
Renderings are produced with international standard software and use BIM products libraries that are uploaded online by the lighting suppliers.

This sector requires a more in-depth knowledge of creative lighting and a better understanding of the so-called "cinema lighting techniques".Knowing the cameras and understanding the entire broadcast chain is indispensable. This type of work requires years of training and over 1000 hours of shooting before one can pretend to master the job of a Director of Photography. Nowadays, image and media are powerful communication means for bands, artists, companies, and public figures. A bad light or a wrong camera axis can ruin years of work. The image you give actually depends on the right mix between a good light and good camera axis.This is why some advanced tools and technologies have been created.
